(More customer reviews)It's an adapter plug - It converts your 30Amp Generator outlet to a 30Amp RV Receptacle. It does everything it's supposed to do. I do offer caution though - make sure that you know the Amps & Volts of your generator and RV. My 30Amp Outlet on my generator is 230 Volts and my RV is 115 Volts. This is not a working combination! This is of no fault of the adapter - it does what it's suppose to do! You need to do your part and verify voltage output provided by the generator and that required by the RV. You can modify the output of the generator, but unless you have a real good understanding of AC electricity, have it done! Just remove one leg (the proper leg) of the power feed to the generator plug.
