(More customer reviews)I haven't tried these gloves out for welding (and I probably won't because I painted one of them yellow, and combustible materials and fire don't mix well) but they are pretty comfortable. The cuff is unlined, so my arm didn't sweat much in costume, and the lining on the hand section is quite soft and nice.
Also, I didn't have to sacrifice much dexterity to use these, so they would probably be really nice to use for small piece working.
