(More customer reviews)I bought these for using on welding projects. I have a variety of C-clamps and vise grips that I use. But for tacking two plates together you just can't beat these locking pliers. Rather than having to use two clamps, I can just clamp one pair of these. I highly recommend this product.
The picture is deceiving, the pair that I got came with rubber grips, which is really cool.
